The village of Prades - 800m of altitude - belongs to the municipality of the Molsosa and the region of the Solsones. The surroundings, formed by conreo fields that formerly they had be meadows of pasture with presence of numerous constructions of dry stone with the walls and cabins of vine, form a full landscape of corners and places where green and the stone is able to compenetrate itself creating spaces with own identity.

The village one keeps the structure from old village with medieval nucleus, narrow and winding streets with covered steps that lead to the small seat of the town.

Its church, dedicated to Sant Ponç, is of s.XII and keeps valuosos altarpieces from century XVII.

Next to the church there is a peculiar stone cross of the 1953, made by I beg that being ill it was welcomed by the people of Prades and that gave to the village in gratefulness symbol.
